Club Nintendo Strategy Guide (SNES)

Club Nintendo's second Strategy Guide makes its mark by including SNES games. By far the most useful SNES guide is the selection of track maps for F-Zero, which would've certainly come in handy for rookie players. In comparison, one can't help but wonder why the Street Fighter II character profiles feature only the names of each character's special moves, and not the button commands. Super Mario World's switch block guide, while nothing special for advanced players, may still have provided some help for new players.

The most surprising game to be featured was Prince of Persia on the Game Boy, which received a map and tips for the first level. Given the strict time limit the game gave players, any help in getting through the earlier sections quicker would've likely been much appreciated. Finally, Zelda and Solar Jetman return from the previous guide, providing advice for players that were still playing the NES.
