The 'heroes in a half-shell' feature on this issue's cover. While their second NES game was titled TMHT 2, it was actually a port of the arcade game rather than a direct sequel to the previous NES game. Despite only supporting two-player multiplayer - as opposed to the coin-op's four-player option - it more than made up for it with new stages, enemies, and boss battles exclusive to this version. The game was also notable for featuring product placement in the form of Pizza Hut logos in levels.

Meanwhile, the Game Boy received ports of Bubble Bobble, Burgertime, and Q*Bert, as well as a sequel to Solomon's Key in the form of Solomon's Club.
